AS part of its latest brand investment Van Vault, the originators of in-vehicle secure storage, has launched its first ever consumer campaign - signifying the brand’s biggest investment in marketing to date.
Van Vault’s 2019 campaign, ‘Always Van Vault’ has been created to drive awareness of the new and improved Van Vault vehicle range which launched in March.
The online campaign features creative video and digital activity aimed at highlighting how Van Vault has been a dependable part of the lives of tradespeople up and down the country for over 20 years. The quality of the Van Vault range has given peace of mind to thousands, and allowed them to get on with their jobs without the worry of tool theft. It features genuine Van Vault customers and is less about the technical specs of the product and more about how it fits into real lives and real work.
A market-leading support package has also been created to support Van Vault’s national network of resellers to help drive the campaign and deliver sales in store – and follows Van Vault’s research into the shopping habits of its trade customers.

This is the first time we’ve reached out to consumers directly thus helping support our resellers and driving trade customers in store. We have confidence that this campaign is going to raise a lot of awareness for the Van Vault brand.”
Van Vault’s recent marketing research covering a number of key trades, including builders, electricians and plumbers showed that when buying secure storage solutions for their van, the preferred choice is to purchase in-store. The report found that 38 per cent of trades customer rely on merchants / stores for recommendations and information and 1 in 4 seek expert advice from a member of staff.
Van Vault is the first vehicle storage product on the market to be accredited by Secured by Design - the UK’s Police approved standard and has achieved a Silver Sold Secure certification too. Secured by Design promotes products which prevent crime and it’s the only form of police approval for UK products.
As the UK’s number one brand for containers that store and secure tools in vehicles, Van Vault has already invested significantly in its marketing activity this year. The brand has invested in understanding how end-users buy. Research showed initial online research is done to look for product information, but visibility in-store is essential as customers want to actually see the product before purchasing in-store.
The independent market research also showed that Van Vault is still the first brand that comes to mind, as is mentioned nearly twice as much as any other competitors without being prompted. Out of the 14 brands mentioned, Van Vault proved to be the leader in spontaneous awareness.
Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, Van Vault is the UK’s premier brand of containers for storing and securing tools in vehicles. The brand offers a range of eight vehicle storage products, each designed for use in different types of vehicles, as well as a selection of on-site secure storage which are stocked by a range of distributors across the UK.
