I have commented on this before, but Wera as a company, always seems to be able to design a new “take” on a tool that gives users a much more sophisticated and efficient experience. Take the KOLOSS as an example. It is billed as “the ratchet with a hammer function”. Why one might ask? Simply because, in the way in which “pre-KOLOSS” ratchets are used in these industries, they are often used as hammers, usually resulting in damage to the tool.. Wera has therefore designed a ratchet that can be used safely as a hammer and then additionally stated that “absolutely no impact- can destroy the ratchet mechanism”.
